Double Deep Pallet Racking stores two pallets in a single entry rack, four pallets deep in a double entry rack. Forklift fitted with a double reach mechanism is required in order to serve the double deep pallet racking system. The use of double deep pallet racking system is a cost effective way to increase pallet storage density. It provides a reasonable stock rotation on a Fist-In Last-Out basis with 50 percent immediate access to pallets. This system is best used when each product line is consisted or several pallets.
